5216 Law on Metropolitan Municipalities

The law on metropolitan municipalities has been published in the Official Gazette in Turkey on 23 July 2004. The purpose of this Law is to establish the legal status of metropolitan municipality administration and ensure that services are provided in a planned, programmed, effective, efficient and consistent manner.
