6415 Law on the Prevention of the Financing of Terrorism

The Law on the Prevention of the Financing of Terrorism has been published in the Official Gazette in Turkey on 16 February 2003. The purpose of the Law on the Prevention of the Financing of Terrorism is to determine the principles
and procedures on implementing the “International Convention for the Suppression of Financing of Terrorism” dated 1999 and the United Nations Security Council Resolutions related to combating terrorism and the financing of terrorism within the context of this Law, on establishing financing  of terrorism  offence, and on freezing of asset with the aim of
preventing  financing of terrorism.
